Sylvan Pastimes will never give or sell your customer information to anyone.
What is the "customer information"?
All customer information is kept on our secured in-house servers that do not have a
connection to the outside world. We do not keep customer information lying around on
laptops.
When ordering our software, we collect your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone
number, and credit card information. This allows us to keep you in our customer records,
process and fulfill your order, provide notification of the order status, and keep you
informed on upcoming products (see Customer Notices, below).
What about third party credit card processing sites?
Your customer information is sent from these processing sites directly to Sylvan Pastimes.
Sylvan Pastimes uses third party credit card processing sites to process your order.
Currently, these sites include Digital River's Share-it.com and CNET's download.com.
The transaction is handled by a secure server hosted by the credit card processing site
that encrypts all of your personal information including name, address, and credit card
number. Encryption ensures that no one can access or use personal information in an
unauthorized manner.
Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's
hard drive. Cookies are primarily used to identify you when you return to a site. Sylvan
Pastimes does not store cookies on your computer.
Customer Notices
When you sign up to receive notifications from Sylvan Pastimes, you will only receive

By default, Sylvan Pastimes will not send you any notifications of upcoming products.
If you wish to be notified when we release a new product or an upgrade to a product you
own, you must sign up for our notification service. The service is free and can be
cancelled at any time. Simply send an e-mail to our guest service department (see contact
information below) and request to receive notices.
